The 50 mm spacing of the “stiff-stay” vertical wires offers superior protection against hooves getting caught in the mesh, making it ideal for areas where foals are present.
For paddocks where horses may be on both sides of the fence, we recommend double-fencing with at least one metre between fences, or using off-set electric brackets for added security.
Dog Fencing:
Keeping dogs safe and secure is a top priority for pet owners. Tornado’s R12/110/5 mesh, with 100 mm x 50 mm spacing, provides a strong and secure barrier for a variety of dog breeds.
Alternative heights of 0.9 m, 1.2 m, 1.8 m, and 1.92 m are available for different applications. For dog exercise enclosures, we recommend R13/192/8 or 1800 x 50 x 50 mm welded mesh for dog day-care facilities.
The R12/110/5 combines solid vertical wires (“stiff-stays”) spaced at 50 mm with horizontal wires spaced at 100 mm, creating a strong and safe mesh at 1100 mm overall height. High tensile wires provide excellent resistance to animal impact, and the Torus knot design eliminates sharp edges, preventing hair or rugs from snagging.
